KARACHI: Advisor to CM on Information, Law and Anti-corruption, Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that today at the meeting of high-level held under the chairmanship of CM reviewed some statements and speeches made by some political leaders living abroad and trying to incite hatred to sabotage peaceful environment in the metropolis and directed the CS to take up the issue with the federal govt with a view to bring the issue to the notices of envoys of these countries. While briefing media persons regarding the decisions taken by the meeting, he said that the home secretary had been directed to initiate necessary correspondence with the federal govt so that action against these politicians can be initiated through Interpol. To a question, the advisor said that issue of safe city project was delayed owing to inquiries pending with NAB. Barrister Murtaza Wahab further said that CM has held out the assurance to security agencies for providing all possible assistance including political and financial to expedite the project. Karachi. 13 December:    Advisor to CM on Information, Law and Anti-Corruption, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Minister for Energy, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, Minister for Transport & Mass Transit. Owais Shah and former Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro told a joint press conference that people of Sindh were being discriminated against by not supplying gas, adding that PTI prior to coming into power had made tall claims to do justice and uphold rule of law but after coming at the helm of affairs, it had committed flagrant violation of article 158 of the Constitution. They said how it was possible in welfare state of Madina, the people of Sindh were first deprived of water and now being deprived of gas facilities. They said that two things were crystal clear that either PTI regime was incompetent or it was wittingly deviating from the Constitution. They urged PM not to force the people of Sindh to take to the streets for their demands. They further said that the government of Sindh had already taken up with the matter with the Federal Govt and was also in constant touch with the stake holders and people to express solidarity with them. Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmad Shaikh said that they have conveyed Sindh stance to   federal government and added that we would record our protest on every forum.

Karachi December 4 : Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Information, Law and Anticorruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that chest pain units of NICVD were unique and emerged as successful cardiac emergency program in the world for providing timely medical aid to patients and added that more such units to be established in metropolis. He said this while visiting Liyari chest pain unit of NICVD on Tuesday.

 “Why people who continue to speak about Thar desert were ignoring deaths of innocent children in Khyber Pakhtoon Khaw,” Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Information, Law & Anticorruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab stated this in a statement issued on Tuesday.

                   Provincial Advisor said that 3979 deaths of infants have been reported in last six months in current year and added that 1720 were aged only one month, while 2259 were infants who died due to malnutrition.  “During the same period, 178 pregnant women were also died in KPK,” Barrister Murtaza Wahab added.

                     He said that these statistics were not prepared by Sindh government but submitted by the KPK government in Supreme Court in a response to Pakistan Medical Association appeal.

                      Provincial Advisor said that deaths of innocent children were caused due to shortage of food and inadequate health facilities in the Khyber Pakhtun Khaw.

                     “How long Fawad Choudhary & Company will keep silence on this issue,” Barrister Murtaza Wahab questioned and advised champions of PTI to remove bigotry spectacles as they could only observe Thar from it.

Karachi 05 November. Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh for Information, Law & Anticorruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab termed Fawad Choudhary’s statement regarding transfers of Rs. 75000 crores to Sindh government as ridiculous and added that Sindh only got Rs. 39000 crores in last ten years.

                              Provincial Advisor giving strong reaction to federal information minister’s statement added that it reflected that Fawad was unaware of the revenue affairs. Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that statement was fake, fabricated and suspicious.

Karachi October 30:    Advisor to Chief Minister for Information, Law & Anticorruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Tuesday visited Command and Control center at Karachi Commissioner Office.While briefing the Information Adviser, Commissioner Iftikhar Shallwani said that Command and Control Centre is playing vital role regarding any emergency. It is a liaison between the Sindh Government departments and Commissioner Karachi Control Room. The Commissioner Karachi said that Integrated Rescue 1299 in order to meet any emergency with regards to the revamping of rescue 1299  is enhanced.  Iftikhar Shallwani discussed the matter at different forums with a view that it is very imperative to establish a rapid response center having a good presence of technical and knowledgeable personalities and equip them with electronic equipment for the purpose of the monitoring of information.
