RESERVATIONS OF SINDH GOVT ON ALTERNATE AND RENEWABLE ENERGY POLICY DISCUSSED.

 

KARACHI MARCH 11: Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Petroleum Division, Nadeem Babar met Sindh Minister for Energy Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh today here in Karachi in Sindh Energy Department.

On this Occasion Chief Executive officer of Alternate and Renewable Energy Development Board of Pakistan Rana Abdul Jabbar and Secretary Energy department Govt of Sindh Musaddiq Ahmed Khan were also present.

 

Special Assistant to PM Nadeem Babar discussed in detail about the reservations of Sindh Government on the draft of proposed Alternate Renewable Energy Policy which is being under compilation by the Federal Government.

 

Mr. Babar agreed to rectify most of the reservations of Sindh province, in the final draft of the Policy.

It is to mention here that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has raised reservations on the proposed draft of Alternate Renewable Energy Policy in the last meeting of Council of Common Interest (CCI), which was held in Islamabad.

 

Nadeem Babar said that the genuine reservations of Sindh Government would be addressed. He said that he would present a detailed report about today's discussion to the Federal Government.
